Every year thousands and thousands
of dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and other animals end up
in our county pounds and shelters. Unfortunately, many
of these animals are often euthanized for a variety of
reasons - disease, overcrowding, etc...
If
you are considering adopting a pet, please check into
your area shelters and rescue organizations. Many types
of animals, including mixed breeds as well as purebreed
dogs and cats are waiting for new, loving homes like
yours!!
Please contribute to your local no-kill
shelters so that they may continue to maintain the temporary
housing these animals need while waiting to be adopted.
